Schnellroda (noble family)

Schnellroda was the name of a knightly family from the old Bamberg ministerial family with the headquarters of the same name in Schnellroda .

The family was first mentioned in 1208 with Wrowin (us) / Frowin (us) de Snellenrode and in 1214 with Cunrad (us) de Snellenrode . It was last published in 1308 with Henricus dictus de Snellenrode . Probably related to the Knutons .
