Fernando Soriano Marco (born September 24, 1979 in Saragossa ) is a former Spanish soccer player who last played for UD Almería .
Player career
The beginnings
Soriano started his career as a footballer at Real Zaragoza , where he previously played in his youth. From 1998 to 2001 he played in the B team of the Aragonese. For the 2001/02 season he went on loan to the second division club Recreativo Huelva , where he promptly became a regular and achieved promotion to the first division. But Zaragoza decided to keep him, so he had to stay with his now relegated club. Also with Saragossa he was promoted to the Primera División . After he lost his regular place in the 2004/05 season , he moved to the second division UD Almería .
UD Almería
In the second season, Soriano was promoted to his new team. He quickly developed into an indispensable regular player there and completed almost 150 league games. In terms of sport, things went downhill for him personally from the 2009/10 season , as he was getting less and less working time.
CA Osasuna and return
For this reason, Soriano decided to move to league rivals CA Osasuna to sign a two-year contract there. Sorino made his first league appearance on the first day of the new season, against his former employer Almería.
Despite his 30 appearances in the season, he was dissatisfied with the move to Osasuna and returned to Almería in the summer of 2011 .
