Interface control

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term interface control is a term from transport law and describes the control during the handling of goods.

Interface controls have to be carried out, for example, in accordance with Section 7 ADSp ( Allgemeine Deutsche Spediteurbedingungen ), when a legal person changes and at the end of each transport route . In the event of damage, appropriate documentation must be presented at the sender's request . Each package must be checked for completeness and identity as well as for externally visible damage and the integrity of seals and closures. Irregularities must be documented in the shipping documents.

Missing or inadequate interface controls can, in the case of freight law liability, lead to the assessment that grossly negligent or reckless behavior was the basis for the damage, so that the originally existing limitation of liability is lifted and there is unlimited liability.
