The transport law includes all legal norms on the transport of cargo or people .

General

The legal field of transport law is part of commercial law in many countries (e.g. in Germany), in Austria it is regulated in the company code. Transport law deals with the transportation modes of freight transport and passenger transport , with accompanying documents ( bill of lading , railway consignment note , bill of lading , sea waybill or air waybill ), the freight business , the rights and obligations of operators and the risk of transport -regulating the transfer of risk .
