Operated by Confiserie Heindl since 2001. Chocolate Museum on the 23rd Viennese district Liesing shows 3000 years of history of chocolate , from the Xocolatl the Olmecs to today's Praline . It also explains the cultivation, the different types and recipes of the chocolate and provides a look at the current production.

The museum is in the form of a classic museum with exhibits and pictures as well as the opportunity to taste various raw chocolates and then look into ongoing production. All processing steps from the cocoa bean to the finished chocolate base are explained: cultivation, harvest, fermentation, drying, storage, cleaning, roasting, crushing, grinding, fine rolling and conching .
