The Schubert summit is a mountain in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . In the Borg massif, it rises directly to the east of the Ovbratten .
They were discovered, photographed from the air and named during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher . It is named after Otto von Schubert (1886–1971), head of the nautical department at the Deutsche Seewarte .
