School Sisters of Our Lady of Namur

The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur (French: Sœurs de Notre-Dame de Namur , English: Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur , religious symbol : SNDdeN ) are a Roman Catholic community of sisters , which goes back to a French foundation. The sisters are mainly active in the school system.

The congregation was founded in Amiens in 1804 by St. Julie Billiart , relocated to Namur , Belgium in 1809 and today has around 2,000 sisters all over the world.
