The house Schulstraße 9 is a Grade II listed building in the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The residential building registered in the Quedlinburg monument register is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is located on the south side of Schulstrasse in the northeast part of the historic Quedlinburg old town. The building, which is also listed, adjoins Schulstrasse 10 to the west.

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was built by the master carpenter ANDREAS SCHRÖDER in 1666 according to a building inscription . The half-timbered facade is decorated with pyramid beam heads and ship throats . In addition, there is a profiled parapet, foot struts and filler wood.

The front door was built around 1830/40 in the style of classicism .
