The Schultheiss Quartier is a revitalized shopping center on the site of the former Schultheiss brewery in Berlin-Moabit . The Schultheiss Quartier is one of the projects of the HGHI Holding GmbH of the investor Harald Huth . The historic, listed building parts of the old brewery on the property between Turmstrasse, Stromstrasse and Perleberger Strasse were renovated and new buildings were added. In 2012, HGHI Holding GmbH acquired the brewery premises. Construction began in autumn 2015 and was completed in summer 2018. In addition to 30,000 m² of retail space and around 15,000 m² of office space, the Schultheiss Quartier also includes a hotel with 8,500 m² and 250 rooms. Instead of the expected upgrading of the area around the Schultheiss-Quartier, the number of visitors has surprisingly decreased.
