Max Dudler
Max Dudler (born November 18, 1949 in Altenrhein , Switzerland ) is a Swiss architect of international standing. Max Dudler's architecture is shaped by the rationalism of contemporary architecture, interspersed with a Swiss minimalism .
Life
Max Dudler studied at the Frankfurt Städelschule in the 1970s , a. a. as a student of Günter Bock . He obtained his diploma in 1979 at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin under Ludwig Leo .
In 1981 he was employed by OM Ungers , with whom he realized, among other things, Messehaus 9 and the Galleria of Messe Frankfurt am Main. In 1986, he set out with Karl Dudler and Pete Welbergen own , without a partner in 1992, with offices in Berlin , Frankfurt , Munich and Zurich .
Dudler has accepted several visiting professorships, for example at the architecture faculty of the University (IUAV) Venice 1989/1990. He was a lecturer at the summer academies for architecture in Herne (1989), in Mantua (1990), in Naples (1993 to 1995) and in Vienna (1996). From 1996 to 1999 he was a substitute professor at the University of Dortmund . Since 2004 he has been teaching at the Düsseldorf Art Academy together with Axel Schultes and Laurids Ortner .
