Schusterjungs is a German band from Weißenfels , Saxony-Anhalt , which assigns itself to the Oi spectrum.

Band history

In the spring of 1998 the as yet nameless band was founded and began rehearsing in a small boiler room. After a while they decided to name themselves after the landmark of their hometown, the shoemaker boy from Weißenfels . Schusterjungs are under contract with the Magdeburg label Bandworm Records .

Controversy

The band is controversial because of its proximity to the right-wing extremist milieu in the Oi scene.

Schusterjungs appear again and again at right-wing rock concerts. For example, in 2018 they shared the stage with the RAC band "Pressure 28".

Stefan "Klatscher" Lahmer played alongside the Schusterjungs as a bass player in the right-wing rock band Kraftschlag . In 2018 Exif-Recherche documented his participation in the neo-Nazi concert "Days of the National Movement" in Themar.

Texts

According to their own statements, the texts of the Schusterjungs deal with the bond with the working class , the skinhead cult , best friends, and women as sex objects.
