The Schwartz Range is a mountain range with northeast-southwest orientation in the East Antarctic Kempland . It rises 27 km southwest of Edward VIII Bay .
The Australian geologist Robert George Dovers (1921–1981) and his French companion Georges Schwartz (* 1920) discovered the mountain range in 1954 on their dog sledding trip to Edward VIII Bay as part of a campaign by the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him after Schwartz on November 28, 1955.
