The black-brown smooth beetle ( Stilbus testaceus ) is a beetle from the family of the smooth beetle (Phalacridae).

features

The beetles are 1.8 to 2.3 millimeters long. They have a spherical-oval brown body, with dark brown wings . They live on dry grass and are very common in Central Europe , only rare in the Alps . Nothing is known about their way of life.
