The Schwarzerdhof is a farm and a dwelling place in the district of Bretten in the district of Karlsruhe in Baden-Wuerttemberg . The place is located two kilometers northeast of Bretten and can be reached via the L 1103 state road.

history

The Schwarzerdhof probably originated in the 16th century and was then owned by the Philipp Melanchthons (Schwarzerd) family.

Today's manor was built between 1795 and 1817 by the Bretten citizen Johann Adam Raber. It has been in the possession of the von Papius family since 1990 (see article Papen (noble family) ).
