NGC 7169 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E / SB0 in the constellation Crane in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 444 million light years from the Milky Way and about 130,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by John Herschel on September 30, 1834 .
