NGC 7174 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sab in the constellation Piscis. It is estimated to be 120 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 80,000 light-years across. Together with NGC 7172 , NGC 7173 and NGC 7176 it forms the Hickson Compact Group 90 .

The object was discovered on September 28, 1834 by the British astronomer John Herschel .
