NGC 7149 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E3 in the constellation Pegasus at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 392 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 150,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 7146 , NGC 7147 , NGC 7156 , IC 1407 .
The object was discovered by Heinrich d'Arrest on September 15, 1865 .
