NGC 7126 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation of Indians on the southern sky . It is estimated to be 130 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 110,000 light-years across. Presumably it forms a gravitationally bound galaxy pair together with NGC 7125 .
The object was discovered on July 22, 1835 by the astronomer John Herschel with his 18.7-inch reflecting telescope and was later included in his New General Catalog by Johan Dreyer .
