NGC 7146 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBab in the constellation Pegasus in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 398 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 115,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 7147 , NGC 7149 , NGC 7156 , IC 1407 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on August 11, 1863 .
