The Swedish oak or nun's oak , also called grandmother, is a pedunculate oak protected as a natural monument in the Bredereiche district of the city of Fürstenberg / Havel in Brandenburg.

The Swedish oak stands on a roadside between Bredereiche and Himmelpfort . The circumference of the trunk measures approx. 5 meters, the diameter 1.60 meters. During a forest inventory in 1930 it was found that the tree must be at least 500 years old. The local association Heimatfreunde Bredereiche takes the view that the Swedish oak was planted by the monks of the Cistercian monastery in Himmelpfort as early as 1400 . The origin of the name “Swedish oak” cannot be proven.
