2011/12 Swiss women's floorball championship

The 2011/12 Swiss women's floorball championship is the 26th season of the women's floorball championship.

Eight teams take part in the Swiss Mobiliar League , with the first four going into the playoffs and the last two teams in a playout game determining who has to play against the playoff winners of National League B to stay up. The National League B contains eight clubs.

Thus, Piranha Chur Swiss champion after beating five games in the playoff final against UHC Dietlikon.

Playouts

The playouts consist of one game, namely the seventh against the eighth place. It is played in the best-of-five mode, with the loser of the game taking part in the promotion / relegation games.

In the promotion / relegation games, the playout loser of the SML has to compete in a best-of-five series against the playoff winner of the National League B.

This is the end of the UH Zulgtal Eagles' excursion to National League B after one season. In their place, the winners of the 1st division playoffs from Skorpion Emmental Zollbrück will be promoted to the National League B.
