Sckellstrasse 1

The Sckellstrasse 1 building is a listed building in the Haidhausen district of the Bavarian capital, Munich . The building was erected in 1876 in forms of the neo-classical Renaissance based on plans by Simon Killer .

The building is a free-standing four-story hipped roof block . The plastered facade shows flat sides risalite and stucco decoration.

In 1933, the Munich folk actor Karl Valentin (1882–1948) moved into an apartment in the house. He only lived there for a short time and moved to Mariannenplatz the following year .
