Scoglio della Malghera (ital. Scoglio = cliff) or La Malghera for short is the smallest of the five Borromean Islands . It is located in the Borromean Gulf of Lake Maggiore about halfway between the much larger neighboring islands of Isola Bella (190 meters southeast) and Isola dei Pescatori (200 meters northwest). It belongs to the municipality of Stresa and is a good 700 meters east of the western lake shore.

The island is 33 meters long and up to 22 meters wide. The surface area is almost 600 m². It has a pebble beach in the southwest, which is populated by seagulls . More than half of the island is forested. The small island is uninhabited and is only approached irregularly by boats.
