Career
Cardullo began her career in 1996 with her hometown club Pallavollo Omegna in the third-rate series B1. Three years later she moved to the club AGIL Volley Novara , which was then playing under the name Agil Trecate in the second division (Serie A2). In 2001 Cardullo succeeded in advancing with the club and she was appointed to the Italian national team for the first time at the tournament in Montreux , with which she reached the final of the European Championship in Bulgaria shortly afterwards . The following year Libera was involved in the first ever title win of the Italians at the World Cup in Germany and was honored as the fairest player in the tournament. In the following season she triumphed with her club, which competed in the first division under the name Asystel Volley Novara , in the CEV Cup and in 2004 in the Italian Cup. After reaching the European Championship final again in 2005 and winning the Top Teams Cup in 2006, she achieved double success with the national team in the World Cup and the European Championship in 2007 . At the continental tournament in 2009 she defended her title after winning a European title for the third time with Novara in the CEV Cup . From 2009 to 2011 she played at MC-Carnaghi Villa Cortese and won two Italian cups here. Cardullo has been playing for the southern French club RC Cannes since 2011 , with whom she became French champions and cup winners in 2012. She then returned to her home country and played again at MC-Carnaghi Villa Cortese and later at LJ Volley Modena , Volley 2002 Forli , River Volley Piacenza and most recently Volley Bergamo , where she won the Italian Cup again in 2016.
