Scot (bill coin)
Scot (also Skot ) is the name derived from a silver weight of a bill coin in use from the 12th to the 16th century in Poland , Prussia and Silesia , which denoted the twenty-fourth part of a mark .

The Scot is not to be confused with the Scoter (also Schoter ), a silver coin with a face value of 15 Pfennig minted by the Teutonic Order in Prussia from around 1490 .
