Scott Harrison (* 19th August 1977 in Bellshill , Scotland ) is a British boxer in the featherweight and former two-time WBO world champion.

Professional career

He won his first three professional fights, the first by technical knockout and the second and third on points, and suffered his first bankruptcy in his fourth fight against his compatriot Miguel Matthews. His fifth battle ended in a draw.

On February 2, 2000, he won the Commonwealth Belt and was able to defend it several times. In October 2002 he competed against the standard boom Victor Santiago for the world championship belt of the WBO and won by unanimous decision. He defended this title twice in a row and lost it on July 12, 2003 to Manuel Medina by a split judge's decision.

However, he won this title back at the end of November of the same year in a direct rematch against Manuel Medina with a knockout victory in round 11. He was able to defend this belt five times in a row.

On April 20, 2013, he boxed against his undefeated compatriot Liam Walsh for the WBO European Championship and lost over ten rounds on points.
