Scott Hecker

Scott Hecker (born before 1978) is a sound engineer .

Life

Hecker began his career in the late 1970s. He made his debut in 1978 with Sam Peckinpahs Convoy . He worked sporadically for television, including on 22 episodes of the crime series Miami Vice , for which he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy in 1985 . His main focus, however, was the film. He has worked on The Empire Strikes Back , Back to the Future and Basic Instinct, among others . Between 1986 and 2016, Hecker was nominated ten times for the Golden Reel Award and was able to win the award five times.

2003 he was responsible for Road to Perdition for the Oscar in the category sound editor Best nominated. In 2016, he received a BAFTA Film Award nomination in the Best Sound category for Mad Max: Fury Road .
