Scott Mansell
Scott Mansell (born October 1, 1985 in Birmingham ) is a British racing driver .
Career
Mansell began his motorsport career in karting in 1996 and was active in this sport until 2000. In 2001, in the single-seater racing and was runner up in the British Formula Honda 600. In 2002, the Briton in the Euro Series Boss , a racing series in which pilots with former racing car series such as the Formula 1 or IndyCar Series competed. He took third place in the F3000 rating. In 2003 he stayed in this racing series and finished sixth overall. In 2004 Mansell played his third season in the EuroBOSS Series and won the championship title in the Benetton B197 . He also managed to set the course record on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit .
In 2005 Mansell left the EuroBOSS Series and only took part in individual races. In the 3000 Pro Series , he competed in a race and was 14th in the drivers' standings. In the IRL Infinity Pro he was 21st in the overall classification after two starts. He also appeared as a guest starter in two races of the British Porsche Carrera Cup . 2006 Mansell entered four races in the Indy Lights , the former IRL Infinity Pro, and finished the season in 20th place in the overall standings.
After he had not started a race in 2007 and 2008, he took part in a Superleague Formula weekend in 2009 for the Galatasaray Istanbul team, which is supported by Ultimate Motorsport . In 2010 he took part in a race in the EuroBOSS Series and at the end of the season he finished 15th in the GP ranking.
