Scott McBain

Scott McBain (born June 1960 in Stirling , Scotland ) is the pseudonym of a Scottish author who has already written several successful novels. Scott McBain lived in Girvan , a town on the west coast of Scotland, until 1969 and after his parents divorced he moved to England, where he also received his education.

He completed a law degree at the Peterhouse in Cambridge and completed another four years as a post-graduate level student from 1978 to 1982. He received a Fulbright Commission scholarship from 1986 to 1987 and studied at Harvard University from 1986 to 1987.

McBain is described in the various sources as fond of traveling, he is said to have visited Albania , Mongolia and North Korea , among others . Furthermore, he has either lived or visited many of the countries named and / or described in his books ( Panama , 1982–84; Beijing , China , 1982–84). Scott McBain currently lives in Panama and is married to a local.
