Scott McBride

Scott McBride is a former Canadian skeleton rider .

Scott McBride was particularly successful in the second half of the 1990s. His greatest international success was winning the bronze medal at the North American Skeleton Championships in 1998. In 1996, 1997 and 1999 he was behind the outstanding Canadian skeleton pilot of the time, Ryan Davenport , second in the Canadian Championships , and in 1998 he was third there. In the World Cup he did not make it into the top ten, at the 1996 World Cup in Calgary he was 21st. After his active career, McBride became a coach and mentors Micaela Widmer , among others .
