North American Skeleton Championship
The North American Skeleton Championship was held for the first time in 1987 for women and men. Since then, apart from 1992 and 1994, the men's championship has been held annually. The women's competition was suspended until 1996 after it was first held and has been held annually since then.
The continental championship is dominated mainly by the athletes from the USA and Canada. In addition, athletes from Mexico and smaller countries such as the Virgin Islands or from host countries compete. The record winner among men is Canadian Ryan Davenport with six victories, which he was able to achieve in a row from 1995 to 1999 and in 2004.
