Chris Elmquist is a former Canadian skeleton pilot .

In the Skeleton World Cup Elmquist was only partially successful, the best individual result was a tenth place at the World Cup in 1988 on his home track in Calgary . At the skeleton world championships , a 13th place in 1989 in St. Moritz was the best result. He was far more successful at the national and North American levels. In 1989 he won the silver medal at the Skeleton North American Championships behind his compatriot Howard Vandall . Two years later he was even able to win the title. Elmquist was Canadian champion three times in a row from 1989 to 1991, and third in 1988.
