Terry Holland

Terry Holland is a former American skeleton rider .

Terry Holland began his international career in the mid-1980s, which would last about 20 years until 2004. In 1987 he won the first North American Skeleton Championship . He was able to repeat the success in the following year. The best result in the overall World Cup was fifth place in the 1991/92 season. However, Holland was never able to win a World Cup race in its long career. At the Skeleton World Championships he achieved fourth place as the best result in 1997 in Lake Placid .

Since the 2001/02 season, Holland has been used primarily in the newly created America's Cup , where he was fifth overall in the first season. After his career, Holland worked as a coach and official for the US Federation.
