The Scott Uplands are a group of rounded and up to 1500 m high hills in the southwest of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . They tower south of the Seward Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1966 to 1969. The British Antarctic Survey (BAS) carried out further surveys between 1974 and 1975. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1977 after Roger John Scott (* 1948), who worked for the BAS on Stonington Island from 1973 to 1975 and had headed the surveys of the hill group.
