Seabras-1 is a submarine cable that Brazil and the United States together. It was completed on July 7, 2017 and was put into operation.

The 10,500 km long cable runs from Brazil through the Atlantic Ocean to the United States and thus connects South America with North America . The estimated cost is about $ 270 million.
