ellaLink - originally eulaLink - is a submarine cable that is supposed to connect Brazil and Portugal . It is scheduled to go into operation in 2020. A start was originally planned for 2016.

The cable runs from Brazil through the Atlantic Ocean to Portugal and thus connects South America with Europe . After Atlantis-2 from 2000, it is the second submarine telecommunications cable that connects South America directly with Europe.
