Sebastian Emele

Sebastian Emele (born November 26, 1825 in Melchingen , † March 14, 1893 in Haigerloch ) was a Prussian civil servant and politician.

Emele was the son of a farmer. He attended high school in Sigmaringen and studied law in Tübingen and Munich. In 1850 he passed the first and in 1852 the second state examination. From 1850 to 1852 he was an auscultator and from 1852 to 1853 appellate court trainee at the Altenkirchen district court . From 1853 to 1854 he was a trainee lawyer at the Arnsberg District Court and then embarked on an administrative career. From 1854 to 1856 he was senior administrator and from 1856 to 1891 senior administrator in the Haigerloch district office , where he retired in 1891. From 1874 to 1885 he was a member of the municipal parliament of the Hohenzollern Lands and from 1874 to 1879 a member of the state committee.
