Sebastian Gruber (politician, 1863)

Sebastian Gruber (born October 20, 1863 in Andorf , Upper Austria ; † December 24, 1941 there) was an Austrian farmer and politician .

Gruber took over his parents' farm in Schulleredt and married in 1898. He had three daughters and a son. He was happy to represent peasant interests. He was a founding member of the Schärding Volunteer Fire Brigade and a functionary of the Schärding warehouse. For his services he was awarded the title of Economic Council.

Around 1910 Gruber was mayor of Andorf and between 1919 and 1925 he was a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag for the Freedom and Order Party ( Greater German and Land Association ).
