Sebastian Winkels

Sebastian Winkels (* 1968 in the Kleve district ) is a German director, dramaturge and cameraman.

Life

After various internships in the film industry, in 1996 he began studying camera at the Konrad Wolf University of Film and Television in Potsdam- Babelsberg . In addition to filmmaking, he has been working as a freelance dramaturge for documentary film productions since 2005, giving seminars at universities and film schools and serving as a mentor for creative documentary films in DocLabs and workshops. He has two children and lives in Berlin .
