Sechka is the name of a high ancient Egyptian official of the 1st Dynasty , who officiated under King ( Pharaoh ) Wadji and Queen Meritneith .
Sechka's name appears on clay seals in the grave of the royal wives Herneith and Meritneith. He is the first official to hold the title of Hatia ("Gaufürst" / "Mayor"). In addition, he exercised the function of a Sem and held the office of the city council ( nḏ-hr ).
