Second Chance is an American television series . In German-speaking countries, the short-lived series can be seen from February 15, 2018 on the pay-TV channel ProSieben FUN .

In the USA, the series was canceled after just one season, after the episode order had previously been trimmed from 13 to 11 episodes.

The series follows the life of Jimmy Pritchard, a 75-year-old former sheriff from King County, Washington, who is corrupt and eventually fell out of favor and was forced to retire. After being murdered, Pritchard is brought back to life in the improved body of a younger man (Robert Kazinsky) by billionaire twins Mary (Dilshad Vadsaria) and Otto Goodwin (Adhir Kalyan). Despite a new life and a chance to relive his life and find a new purpose, the temptations that led to his career continue to haunt him.

Below production, ordering and broadcasting, the series had four different titles. Developed and ordered as "Frankenstein" or "Frankenstein Code", the title has meanwhile been changed to "Lookinglass". The final broadcast took place under the well-known title "Second Chance".
