Sefton is a community ( Civil Parish ) in southwest Lancashire ( England ), is no longer part of this county, but is now in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton . It is on the eastern edge of the borough, about 15 km north of central Liverpool . The place has 855 inhabitants (2011).
