Sehetepibre , also Sehetep-ib-Re , was a king ( pharaoh ) of the 13th Dynasty and ruled from around 1743 to 1742 BC. Chr.

Regency

Nothing is known about Sehetepibre's life before his reign, only that he lived around 1743 BC. He succeeded the Sechemrechuitaui as pharaoh. He bore the throne name "who satisfies the heart of Re" and the name Horus "who extends the two lands". After only a year of reign, Sehetepibre died.

Lore

The sources that report anything on seehetepibre are sparse. On the Turin royal papyrus he is named as the 5th king of the 13th dynasty and successor to Amenemhet V , although his exact classification is still relatively uncertain. In addition, a cylinder seal that names Sehetepibre and the prince of Byblos, Jakinilu, and the fragment of a stele from the lead-gloss mines of Gebel Zeit on the Red Sea , on which his name is recorded, have been preserved.
