Seiichi Ogawa ( Japanese 小川 誠 一 , Ogawa Seiichi ; born July 21, 1970 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Ogawa learned to play soccer on the school team at Funabashi High School . He signed his first contract with Toyota Motors in 1989 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League Division 2. In 1989/90 he was runner-up in Division 2 with the club and was promoted to Division 1. With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Toyota Motors became Nagoya Grampus Eight . In 1996 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club . In 1995 and 1999 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . For the club he completed 217 games. At the end of 2000 he ended his career as a soccer player.
