Seiichirō Okuno ( Japanese 奥 野 誠一郎 , Okuno Seiichirō ; born July 26, 1974 in Fukui Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Okuno learned to play soccer on the school team at Maruoka High School . He signed his first contract with the Yokohama Wings in 1993 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed 25 first division games. In July 1998 he moved to the second division club Ōmiya Ardija . In 2004 he was runner-up with the club in the J2 League and was promoted to the J1 League. For the club he completed 275 games. At the end of 2007 he ended his career as a football player.
