Seiji Ozawa Hall

The Seiji Ozawa Hall is a concert hall of the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) in Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts , in the Northeastern United States .

It was opened in 1994 in honor of Seiji Ozawa , who won his first prize as a student in Tanglewood and trained young artists there for many years.

Tanglewood is the summer quarters of the BSO, where Ozawa - before he moved from Boston to the Vienna State Opera in 2002 - also oversaw the international music academy .
