Gant – Hohtälli cable car
The cable car Gant Hohtälli is a large aerial cable car in the area of Zermatt , Canton of Valais . It leads from Gant ( 2223 m above sea level ) to the Hohtälli ( 3273 m above sea level ).
It is 2,707 meters long and overcomes a height difference of 1,057 meters. It was built in 1998 and put into operation in the 1998/1999 ski season. What is remarkable about this cable car is that it runs over the highest cable car pillar in Switzerland at 94 meters .
