Sead "Sejo" Kalač (born October 5, 1964 in Rožaje , Yugoslavia , now Montenegro ) is a turbo folk singer.

Life

Sejo Kalač was born on October 5, 1964 as the child of a worker in Rožaje in the Montenegrin Sandžak , where he also spent his entire youth. After graduating from high school, he did his military service in Našice from 1983 to 1984 . In 1985 he founded the band " Paukova mreža " with some close friends , with which he was only able to achieve moderate success. After a short time the newly formed band broke up in Zagreb and Sejo Kalač began his solo career.

In 1991 he recorded his first solo album "U ulici jorgovana".

Private

Sejo Kalac lives with his wife and children in the Croatian capital Zagreb . His second home is in Sarajevo, Bosnia . His brother Caki is also active as a singer and is also building on a singing career at Hayat Production in Sarajevo.

Sejo Kalač is a Montenegrin Bosniak of the Muslim faith. He has Croatian citizenship .
