Seki (also Beseki, Bulu, Seke, Sekiana, Sekiani, Sekiyani, Sekyani, Sheke and Shekiyana) is a Bantu language and is spoken by around 14,690 people in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon .

Seki is widespread in Equatorial Guinea in the Litoral province with around 11,000 speakers (2001 census) and in Gabon in the Ogooué-Maritime province with around 3,690 speakers (2000 census). It is spoken in both coastal and forest areas.

classification

Seki is a Northwest Bantu language and belongs to the Kele group , which is classified as a Guthrie Zone B20.
