Sekou Cissé (born May 25, 1985 in Dabou ) is an Ivorian football player who can play both centrally and on the outside lanes.

The striker joined the Dutch club Roda Kerkrade from FC Bibo in 2004 on the recommendation of his compatriot Arouna Koné . For the 2009/10 season he moved on to league rivals Feyenoord Rotterdam .

During the winter break of the 2013/14 season, he left Feyenoord and moved to neighboring Belgium for the first division club KRC Genk . This was followed by further positions in France at FC Sochaux and Gazélec FC Ajaccio . The striker was most recently under contract with Anorthosis Famagusta in Cyprus .

Cissé has been without a club since January 9, 2019.

National team

With the U-23 selection, he took part in the international tournament in Toulon in 2008 and was the top scorer with four goals, for the Olympic Games in Beijing he was in the squad of 18. For the senior national team of Ivory Coast Cissé came to eleven appearances from 2008 to 2009 and scored three goals.
